Visit Mae Sa Elephant Camp - Located just 30 km north of Chiang Mai city is becoming a popular tourist destination with many attractions. The Mae Sa valley elephant camp is the largest in the North and is a must to visit how elephant are used in the daily life of their naturally trained. Observe a demonstration of their highly valued skills in moving huge logs and their playful behavior as they bath in the cool stream. You'll have an optional opportunity to ride on an Elephant. Continue to the nearby Orchid and Butterfly Farm, where you can enjoy exotic year-round blooms and special butterfly enclosures where tropical species can be seen in a natural environment. The Mae Sa Orchid farm is home to a large complex of thousands of orchids and an enclosure of live butterflies, and in addition to the 50-plus types of brightly colored orchid flowers to see, there are also tropical plant species and hybrid plants to explore. You head off to Mae Sa Elephant Camp, where you see these magnificent animals demonstrating their intelligence and skills, you visit an elephant nursery. You can enjoy an optional half hour or hour elephant back ride through indigenous jungle. On route back to Chiang Mai, guests relax and walk in Orchid gardens and a butterfly farm. Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai around 12:00 am
